Tyre pressures
Panda Car’s tyres need blowing up, but I didn’t know what pressure Panda Car likes its tyres to be. Henry tells me his preferred pressures when I open the driver’s door. Panda Car is more secretive.
I looked it up in the internet. There’s a whole range of pressures, depending on the type of tyre. Of course there is. What type of tyre does Panda Car have? Who knows. Another webpage said to look for some writing on the side of the tyre.
I peered at Panda Car’s front offside tyre; there was lots of writing. I had to take photos of it to see what it said. I found the right bit of writing, referred back to the original webpage, and noted the correct pressure.
I went about my business, then realised I was going to be late to meet a friend. Panda Car would have to wait. Sorry, Panda Car.
It turned out I might have had time to sort Panda Car’s tyres out then after all – my friend was late even by their standards.
I’m having an early night tonight. I went to bed at silly o’clock last night because I was too upset about Henry to sleep. I was supposed to go for a run today, but my body said nuh-uh, you need to rest. Ok.
Thank you for caring about me and my Henry yesterday. I’m touched.
