Mama!

My girl threw me a curve this morning. She showed up with two fawns! They ran off pretty quickly when they saw me, so I didn't get a shot of them, but what the heck? I never thought any of the fawns I've seen were hers. But I know it was her - because I could see the little cowlick circle on her neck. After she finished eating all the peanuts, she walked up the hill and into the woods. I assume her children found her again.

Meanwhile, I suppose some of the fawns I've seen previously might be hers. I've assumed that does with fawns weren't MY doe, because I hadn't seen them close enough to identify the doe conclusively.
