Seaside Supper

Well the UK border control excelled themselves today. I've got a van full of picnic equipment for the tour, and of course it has to be "exported" to Europe and reimported a few weeks later.

The UK form normally takes about an hour to process ( 2 different teams of people in separate prefabs) but took 3h20 today, whilst the one on the French side (identical except the colour) has never taken more than 10 minutes (one person entrusted with their own ink stamp!).

My reward for catching a later ferry and a longer day was some excellent fish and chips eaten at a window seat. The gorgeous day provided a perfect view of France as soon as we left the UK.

Overnight break in Reims, so will pop out before breakfast because I had really hoped to explore this evening.
