Colourful
... was the prompt for this week's Abstract Thursday challenge. This is a square section of a wool rug made by my father over 50 years ago. I've had fun fartnarkeling with Photoshop filters and added a dove as a focal point. Thanks as ever to Ingeborg for hosting.
Back to line dancing this morning, where we learned some new dances and practised other older ones. Good to be back, even though I found myself in fear of falling. Guess that will wear off in time.
Lunch out on the way home. Not haute cuisine, but nice to stop for a break. Mr PP had done lots of shopping while I was dancing, so good for us both.
He has spent much of the day asleep (as was I) and peeling and stewing apples to freeze from the garden, with the promise of oodles of crumbles and custards to follow. I spent two hours solid reading (almost unheard of for me!) in order to finish the ever more compelling and intense The Bee Sting (Paul Murray). OMG. It's so well conceived and written, but I now feel I need counselling to cope. Will be nice to read an old 'gentle' everyday Dick Francis thriller while I recover. Or maybe Heidi, or somesuch!?!
