Fancy pub
We met up with Rob’s brother and sister in law for lunch in Worcester today. We ate in a very old pub called the Charles II which was wonderfully old and wooden inside and was , of course, a place where Charles stayed after the Battle of Worcester. Lunch was good: I had chicken Caesar salad and the other three had pie, mash and peas. I played hunt the anchovy with my salad to start with so they brought me some more in a little dish. Delicious!
This blip shot is the exterior of not quite so old Mitchell’s and Butler pub further up the same street and the tiled(?) exterior looked fabulous in the afternoon sun.
So a good trip out apart from Rob running over my foot with the mobility scooter. We were preparing to cross the road and the little green man started to flash and Rob moved forward I didn’t. I must admit I said a rude word which must have shocked everyone else around us…. No lasting damage thank goodness.
