While on my runs

In the heart of Kingsland

My peer group met in person on Thursday 29 August and discussed issues over a meal. On arrival in Kingsland I remembered that I needed a photo, and this grand old (1911) post office building caught my attention.

The building ceased to function as a post office in 1989, and since then has had other unrelated uses. At one time it was the Auckland headquarters for the Society of St Vincent de Paul who wanted to sell it in 2012.

I do not know its current use. Unlike some similar aged buildings it is obviously well cared for.
