Where's Your Head At?

Today I just decided to go for another still life - so why not a hummel figurine, a string of orange beads and the rear end of a carved wooden deer!
The diminutive chap you can see in my image is called the Little Trumpet Boy. He was one of my mum's favourites but unfortunately he has managed to suffer quite a few mishaps over the years including one episode where we literally lost his head. Thankfully we were able to find it again and reunite it with his shoulders but if you look closely you can still see the join. He has suffered several indignities and misfortunes over his time with us but we wouldn't be without the little fella.
