Magnolias……

Blooming now along one of the Taylor River berms. Several young trees full of flowers. . Alas yesterday’s strong winds have damaged a number of the flowers. I photographed these two very early this morning. I used my iPhone in “Portrait” mode and later played around with some editing to get a dreamy slightly out-of-focus look.
I had planned to get to the pastel painting group this morning. But unfortunately I started to feel very “seedy” and queasy. So I hunkered down at home for the day. There are lots of cases of gastrointestinal illnesses out in the community at present.
