That was interesting, thought Teddy. What a day.

He turned up for a wedding that started early, found himself having to improvise when he spotted that the bride was on her way, had to stop to allow someone to make a phone call, and ended up walking to the end of a long lane in order to direct the ambulance.

It was, for all that, thinks Teddy, a most beautiful end to a very interesting day.
