Life is a Challenge!

SWINDON PAINTFEST IS HERE AGAIN!

The Annual Paintfest in Swindon will be happening this weekend, but lots of wonderful pieces have already appeared on blank walls around the town, and this is one of them.

As the cricket match was abandoned last night - more later - Mr. HCB invited me out for coffee and after that we went to see this wall painting on the side of T4, a camera shop in our town centre.

I did go into the shop to ask if they knew anything about it, but sadly the assistant I spoke to said all he knew was that it was a little girl touching a tablet - not sure if it was a Galaxy or iPad!  Anyway, here is the first of probably many wonderful murals I shall take over the next few weeks.  This one was done by Mr. Cenz and if you are interested to know more about him and his street art, do have a look HERE.

With regard to the abandoned cricket match - because of a couple of hand injuries to the “other” team, the umpires (one being a woman!) deemed the pitch unsafe - so the match was abandoned.  Such a shame but apparently, the pitch was a hyrid one i.e. part grass and part artificial grass - say no more!  Mr. HCB was not happy because his team, Gloucester, had batted with no injuries through the First Innings and then the other side, Northampton, had two injuries - mind you, Mr. HCB said Northampton’s bowlers were slightly slower than Gloucester’s.

Hope you all have a great weekend and the sun shines on you - the weather does look as if it will be good all weekend.  M xx
