I felt lucky...

...to spot this butterfly in this morning's sunshine. There haven't been many around so far this summer.

As always with butterflies, I am not good at identifying what I have photographed, even with the Internet and books to help.

So I would appreciate it if any fellow blipper can suggest what type of butterfly I have photographed.

I have added an extra taken less than a minute later. Not sure whether it is the same butterfly/family since there were a few around.
