Stepping up

Gosh, nighttime is quite difficult at the moment.  I gave up being in bed around 1am and came downstairs.  I just couldn't get comfy. Thankfully day time I can take pain relief when the wildlings are away and do nothing.  

I got a lovely surprise when I woke from a nap. Two of my bosses and my sweetest student came round with flowers and chocolates.  My wee lad has been upset all week as he was right beside me when the accident happened.  And he has cried the last few days with worry. So he came round today and was so happy to see that I was ok. I did look zonked but he was so pleased to see me. He really is a lovely soul.  

My union rep got in contact as she had already got the ball rolling and had been into work filling out incident forms. And her and my boss have went over the HT's head and will be making sure I still earn my normal wages being off. Such a relief as I was worried I'd have to go back sooner before I have healed. 

The big wildlings have really stepped up.xander made himself plain rice for dinner. Yip it's bland but he's now declaring himself a proper cook. And miss Harp has been busy chopping cucumber to go along with her dinner. 

I'm going back for a lie down once they are fed. We have had a joiner come round and discuss our future plans so I was on my feet for over half an hour and it's made me bloody hurt. Hey ho I don't plan on doing anything now until bedtime.  

Poor granddad has been admitted to hospital again and is receiving a transfusion.  What a worry. The last time it happened I had literally just gotten out of hospital with my foot. Maybe I'm a jiinx in some way.
