Street pattern
There's never much to report when I spend most of my day writing documentation. There was only a single meeting I'd put on the calendar because it transpired we'd released a software update earlier than expected. This allows one of our automations to happen, and although the operations team knew it would be coming, they needed to prepare for it. It turned out that they were very relaxed with an early release, and I didn't need to do any mitigation. It was, possibly, one of the most straightforward releases I've done.
In the evening, I decided to return to my Tai Chi class. I haven't been since we were on holiday in March, so I have missed an entire term. The discomfort caused by my shoulder has been too great and put me off attending. Tonight, I explained where I'd been and apologised for not letting them know. I resumed training but consciously tried not to swing my shoulder too much. I only felt a little bit of pain. I've decided to try a couple of classes as a test for my shoulder before I pay for the next term. I hope they will be OK with that.
On the way back, I was looking for today's picture. Sometimes, when out and about and trying to find a subject to photograph, I notice something I have passed hundreds of times but have not appreciated. The brick pattern on the pavement was something I had not consciously noticed before. Why did they decide to do it? Does it serve any purpose?
