Success

A very slow and busy drive to Glasgow airport where KK had his first pilots lesson. We made it only 1 minute late. The weather was good and as the booked 2 seater was being used he got to take up the 4 seater. This was great as I got to go too, unexpected bonus. We flew up and down the Clyde, over Loch lomond and out to lake of Menteith. Kk had the controls apart from take off and landing. He banked the plane on some pretty tight turns.  Our teacher and pilot was a professional pilot from Jet 2 and he was excellent. Main is KK flying the plane then extra is him with the plane after landing. He even taxied it across Glasgow airport steering with foot pedals.
An excellent day. No gin tonight as hubby has gone out and so has KK. His butcher mates are taking him to the pub for the first time. It may be messy later. I am on standby driving duty and now I shall cut the grass.
