A bridge too far!

On our way to the ferry we stopped off in Arnhem. We took a walk to take in some of the sights associated with Operation Market Garden, September 1944. It is still a very sobering sight to see the bridge and read about the horrible situation troops found themselves in. How different the place is over 80 years on 
We had a lovely walk around the city centre, stopped for a coffee and enjoyed the great atmosphere. 
In order not to rush we headed west in good time and managed a walk on the wonderful beach between Hook of Holland and Den Haag - Monster beach!
Now we have settled on the ferry, watching the sun go down over the North Sea.
