L'arete a Marion - Massif des Aravis

2369m, 13 pitches, up to 5c technical.

Supposedly an easy intro day, a shake, rattle and roll so to speak, it's been a lot of years since me and my bestie did this. 
Wowsers, tough approach, but I'm fast uphill. Descent truly horrendous, a fight of the worst kind. I'd conservatively estimate we displaced half a tonne of loose razor sharp rubbish. 
But.

But. 
What a fantabulous climb, moving together alpine style, laughing at the mile high drops, nailing the technical pitches with ease.
And. 
Bar, UTMB, beer, food, sleep.
