Not sure
I'm not sure which species this is and nor is the best photo but it was unusual enough for me to want to blip it.
It may be a noctule which are known to come out in daylight and it is quite big but it could also be a brown long-eared bat which are quite common in our area - either way this is the first bat in flight shot I have ever made.
I'm also open to suggestions as there are only 9 species in Scotland - I can rule out pipistrelle - too small, probably not Daubenton's either but.....!
