Black Darter

A leisurely breakfast followed by a trip into Kendal for provisions. 
After lunch we went to Foulshaw Moss and had some reasonable views of an osprey. Unfortunately there was quite a heat haze, so there are no images for today. 
There were quite a few of these little black darters whizzing around the Moss - the only black dragonfly found in the UK. 
The Pheasant at Allithwaite provided our dinner this evening - good food at a reasonable price. Just what we wanted.
