Riverside Building, Tonbridge, Kent.
This building, currently a restaurant, used to be a gunpowder store.
By complete coincidence as I was taking the picture, I got talking to a man on an old barge moored nearby. He told me that his barge -before he acquired it- was used to transport gunpowder from the Powder Mills (now the name of the village) upstream from Tonbridge to this store.
Subsequently, it was taken downriver to the Royal Navy Shipyard at Chatham.
