Public ashtray

This ashtray is mounted on a post near ArtSpring, the community arts centre. It is within 6 metres from one of the main entrances, so I think that it must have been mounted before March 2008. That was when BC banned smoking in all public spaces and workplaces and within a 6-metre (20') radius of doors, open windows and air intakes. Very rare to see anyone smoking in public here now.
