A Coruña September Trip Day 1

After a day of travelling, London Heathrow to Madrid, then Madrid to A Coruña on the Atlantic coast of NW Spain.  A Coruña is a place where you can relax, feel safe and be welcomed.

I have visited many times over the years and always stay at the same hotel.  It is located across from the promenade and the beach.  I highly recommend Hotel Riazor - the photograph is taken from room 906.

I live near Heathrow Airport, so fly from there which means I have to make a connection at either Madrid or Barcelona.  If you travel from Gatwick, there is a direct flight operated by Vueling
