Should I trim that lawn?

The answer was yes. The grass is getting straggly in places where it was real meadow not so long ago, and it was perfectly dry. Tonight it'll rain and who knows if it will dry out tomorrow.
I cut it particularly short under the wild plum tree so it's easy to collect the windfallen small sour plums. I may be the only person who eats them but I do love that sharp taste.
