Never mind all this Oasis reunion nonsense, the musical big news was surely the release of Wild God, Nick Cave’s latest. Oh it’s rather good. We immediately had to backtrack on our decision not to go and see him in November in Glasgow. 
Then I was out and about. Haircut, travel money for the daughter (kind dad), and Touch, an Icelandic film along at Ocean terminal. And very lovely it is too. Sentimental maybe, but I think we can allow feel good stories about people in later life a bit of leeway. That’s a nautical term, btw.
Back to sit out for the first time in ages, but that sun is noticeably lower and the trees in Kirstin’s untended patch are noticably taller. Grrr. 
And then more even greater musical news. Peter Perrett has announced a tour! I haven’t seen him since October 1977. We’re in!!
