Helter-skelter

Curriculum Enhancement Week.

The kids at school are spending this last full week before the holidays taking part in fun activities. Each department has organised something. Some kids went to the coast yesterday, others are camping, some went to France for the day and there's a fashion show on Friday. Today I helped out with 'Teambuilding' activities on the playing field - outdoors all day (thank goodness there was plenty of shade and lots of buckets of water!). It was great fun and, perhaps only except for the dancing sessions, I think our ones were the favourites of the day. Not that it's a competition, of course... ;-)

I thought this picture would be nice to use today as it's not a view I normally see, looking at the school like this. On the right is the observatory that I previously blipped on its grand opening day, the geography department is behind the big tree and in front of the tree you can see the first signs of desertification. ;-)
