Manchester: The Magnetic Fields

Im and I took the train up to Manchester so that we could see 'The Magnetic Fields' on their '69 Love Songs' 25th Anniversary tour. We were too late to get tickets closer to home, so made a little Manchester escape out of it... Each location on their tour comprised two nights, with the 69 Love Songs played in full and in order across the two concerts; it's a 3 CD album, so we heard the second half, from 'World Love' until the end, which included some of our favourites.
We explored Manchester a little in the afternoon; amazing to arrive on the train and find that we could take the bus around the city centre free of charge!
