Ladybirds

I managed to knit almost another square this morning, but got interrupted several times with things like groceries and the postman arriving. I had hoped to knit one square a day, but I think this may be optimistic; this project has been in progress for two years and needs to be finished.
 
I have not seen many Ladybirds in the garden this year, but today there were two on the laurel shrub; today’s picture is one of them. The extra is a none too focused picture of the other one.
 
The temperature at noon today was twenty degrees Celsius.
