Mainz, Germany
I had enough hours layover in Germany to leave the airport. It was warm and sunny and walking around town was much more interesting than the same number of hours walking inside the airport would have been. On the way back I talked with the taxi driver about energy and the steel industry and hydrogen and Namibia and Morocco.

An unnamed White House official told the Politico news website that “90 percent of the planes that launch glide bombs” against Ukrainian front-line positions had been moved back inside Russia.”
Hope so.
The US is going to give Ukraine $800 million to repair the electricity sector.
