1940 Alvis car
This morning I cycled to Home Park to see the classic cars that were assembling there prior to them going into Hampton Court Gardens for the event there. It is a three day event and as well as about 20 notable cars on show each day several owners clubs have cars on display. This is a 1940 Alvis car, not a make I’m familiar with. Looks very dignified. Also today there were many many E-type Jaguars which I remember from when I first came to London…see extra
After this I went into Bushy Park where the 1000th Parkrun was just finishing. I was told over 2000 runners took part today…I think it’s usually 400-500 there.
The weather was miserable today very dull and chilly, the first time I’ve had to put on a proper coat to walk Libby.
This afternoon I’ve sorted out all my fabrics ready for some sewing projects soon.
