Seeing Red

It’s always a treat to find a red squirrel in the yard, especially during the summer. Typically one is with us during fall and winter, sometimes two, as long as there’s enough food to go around. American red squirrels are independent, and territorial, with home ranges of 1-6 acres, compared to 8 acres for gray squirrels • Not much sun today because showers are moving in for tonight and tomorrow • Have a great rest of the weekend!
