Beetlebum

Brit Pop is in the news. I've been reading about the success of the Bank Holiday Big Feastival held at the Cotswold farm of cheesemaker Alex James, Blur's bassist. (Festivals are bad news as far as I'm concerned after my recent experience.)  But no, it's not Beetlebum and Parklife but the likes of Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova that are suddenly coming to the fore. There has been chaos today as Oasis fans scrambled to get tickets for the reunion tour of the Gallagher brothers.

I shot my black beetle on an autumnal hawkbit seedhead. Beetles are pollinators too.
