Gorge du Verdon

Today's ride was amazing view after amazing view on fabulous roads.
It was hard to take it all in, and even harder to retain the memory of it all.

The Verdon Gorge, however, stood out in both our memories from 30yrs ago; it was a joy to be able to ride along it again.

Temperature hit 35° this afternoon, bizarrely we got caught up in a farmers' protest going through Sisteron. Very glad to reach our accommodation - literally in the middle of nowhere with 360° view of the mountains.
