Back and Forth

I didn't sleep well last night. I'd made a mistake. This was partly about the van I'd bought but probably more about me forgetting the reasons why I'd sold my van two years ago. In the dead of night I remembered. Anyway, as soon as they opened I rang the company and spoke to the guy I'd done the deal with and he was very gracious. With a sale on the premises they're not obliged to return my deposit but he instantly agreed to refund it. I feel very relieved but a little foolish in going in so deep before finding a camper van isn't what I need at this time but maybe I wouldn't have learned that any other way. 

This dragonfly landed on the bare stem of a smoke bush below me while we were having coffee this morning. He was using his vantage point to prey on small insects flying back and forth at tremendous speed. I nipped inside to get my camera and fitted my 400mm lens. I was able to get a few shots despite the strong breeze blowing the stem and the dragon about an awful lot. I think it's a Southern Hawker but I can't be sure.
