Skipton Castle Woods
An early walk there so not many people about, it was a lovely fresh morning and the sun was just coming through. On our way back to the boat we had coffee and a raspberry croissant.
I sorted out some things on the boat for charity shops. I took books to the new Oxfam bookshop
And some crafty things to the other Oxfam shop.
Got rid of plastic bottles for recycling and old cosmetics to the Boots recycling box.
It felt good to get rid!
Town was very busy today, which is good to see.
Later I went to Morrisons to get ‘the sausages’ ;-) I thought we’d try the Beyond Meat ones as they were on special offer. They also have a good protein content. They were good! We had them with baby potatoes and broccoli.
I found a book on the Morrisons book shelf which I think will fit the LBB21 prompt for this month. It’s by Susan Cooper and called ‘Over Sea Under Stone.
It was first published in 1965. It’s a young adult book but I think this old adult will enjoy it too.
Frank has gone out to a gig, it’s the guy and his wife who Frank did his CD recording with. I didn’t feel like going out so I’m having a cosy night in , the stove is lit so it’s lovely and warm.
I had to research an artist from early last century for Art Group. I struggled but then came across a woman artist named Amy Katherine Browning. She is right up my street. She paints people doing ordinary things. There is so much to see and so much detail in her work. Very inspiring.

Just a thought, I wonder how many folk are going around humming Oasis songs…
I’m really tired so it’s new book and bedtime.
Goodnight Blippers, hope you’re having a good one!
