A pleasantly warm and sunny day for the last day of August.

We’d a local walk at our other place this morning. Views across the fields and bay were lovely.

It was the start of the 2024-25 rugby season. Today our younger son’s team had a Cup game. Their league starts next week. We went to the game with his partner. It was nice to see a few old faces. A fairly good game, essentially the first competition match since the preseason run outs. A few new players and partnerships etc. The opposition kicked a penalty to level the score in the final action of the match, a bit of a disappointment! Nonetheless it was an exciting start to the Cup campaign and season ahead. The second team on the adjacent pitch won a local derby.
