Driftwood rocker

Escaping the heat inland, John and I headed to the coast. Astoria was partly sunny; the Washington coast fog never lifted.
Our first stop had been a new bakery in Ranier; warm sourdough bread and other goodies in tow we were well prepared for the day. John fashioned rails for his rocking chair to function in the sand. As usual, I did beach cleanup. A very pleasant day!
