Men at Work

I wondered what on earth all the noise was this morning & here’s the answer! Two guys were sliding the old roof-tiles halfway down to the snow-break, the next two sliding them the rest of the way down before they got thrown in the chute to land with a crash in the dump truck. All done in a couple of hours and not a rope or safety harness in sight!
We had S’s birthday breakfast on the terrace and I stayed out until the sun came around and I had to retreat indoors. But we were out again later after coming home from Allgauer Hof and a good evening spent S’s brother. Late cocktails, lounging outside on a beautiful evening, hard to beat.
