She may not look happy …

… but I can assure you that she was happily eating Dreamies, along with her sister a few minutes later.

Both Emmy (in photo) and her sister Millie are of that most senior age, that they can’t groom themselves as efficiently as they used to, so clumps of matted fur appear at parts they cannot reach. 

This being the case, they need some beauty treatments carried out by Leanne next door, who is a vet nurse. They love Leanne to bits as she and Andy look after them when we go on holidays. 

Anyway, they look a bit tidier (even if they look as if they have mange!) and their fur will go back quickly and hopefully, with regular combing, hopefully, we can keep the clumps at bay.

Anyway, I’m sure you wanted a blow by blow account of their beauty treatments, lol.

In other news, we are making from scratch chicken supreme and leek pies for tea … so Sunday.
