At a donkey shelter

Redundant donkeys, mistreated donkeys,  all kinds of donkeys find themselves a good forever home in the shelter. To bring in money you can take out donkeys for a walk in the area. That is what a colleague of mine had in mind for us as her goodbye party. Alas a few weeks ago a wolf in the area approached a child in the woodland around the shelter. The child got nuzzled at and probably bitten. Around that time a dogwalker lost his dog to a wolf. So the area is not deemed safe at the moment. Temporarily no donkey walks. Still, we were welcome to come by and hang out with them. And we had coffee and tea and such. So still a very nice outing.
