Silly Saturday ...
... and Happy Birthday, Love!
We didn't get out for our walk until later in the afternoon. But we still managed to have a lovely time at Jacobsburg State Park. We started our walk at a different trail than usual as we wanted to check for butterflies in a certain field. We are going to be attending a special butterfly program here later in September and wanted to check it out.
From there we walked the Henry's Woods trail as we usually see people and dogs in the creek ... especially this time of year. What we didn't expect was that Richard had take a stroll in the creek as he brushed up against some poison ivy leaves and wanted to wash off his legs!
When we returned home we found one of our monarch butterflies had emerged from his chrysalis. This is a male ... we sent him along in the memory of Debbi's friend's husband C who recently passed away at a much too young age. ♥♥♥
I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Richard! I had a lovely day spent in your company! Love you so much!
