MORECAMBE BAY WILDLIFE
(with tongue firmly in cheek!!!).
Last night we knew that a steam train was coming along the Furness Line, we read that it was going to be The Royal Scot, but it wasn't it was the Braunton. We duly went down to the station at the alloted time and it was packed, for Kents Bank that is!!!
The train arrived on time and too all of 33 seconds to whizz through the station, To be honest my photos are total rubbish but luckily I'd set hubby up to take a video using my Samsung phone camera and that came out well. I've managed to take a fairly reasonable screen shot of it and put it in the collage, with tongue firmly in cheek due to the title and it was taken last night!!
The other photos were taken today and I guess humans can be counted as wildlife too. Not much else to photograph on the journey home today as it was so grey and nothinhg stood out whatsoever. Then as we drove past the laybe at Milnthorpe I noticed several deer under the tree right by the water, aaarrgghh, hubby said we should stop but I said no they won't be there !!!! So we stopped further along. I dashed out and walked back a little way but by the time I got there I was just in time to seem them running up the hill!!!! Aahh well it was lovely to see them.
We had our usual trip to Mum's this morning, traffic quite busy as we suspected so we went via the A6 instead of the M6 as it would be easier to turn off if too bad.
Did a few chores for Mum, although she'd one most of them herself.
That's all from me for today. Do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
