My Local

Local pubs are dying out all over the country and it's a crying shame. Thankfully, my local is thriving thanks to the support of the regulars like me. I take my books, my newspapers, my work, my wife (when she's not on antibiotics, as is the case this week) my mum and dad and my kids (who are now adults). It is just the best place to relax, put the world to rights, think, create stuff, solve problems, do work, sometimes do nothing but savour the fine ales and good company. What more can you ask?
