Thames walk

I'm still being thrown out of the Library at 5 pm so the evenings are nice and long. I should probably try and stick to leaving on time when the building returns to normal term-time hours. It was a nice evening so we walked down to the Thames and along the Kennet and Avon canal to the pub. We had a drink and a chat and then walked back home in the warm evening air. 
Had my annual appraisal meeting this afternoon at which some decisions about next year's working patterns were discussed. Scary but exciting too. Not sure it they'll come to pass but will be interesting to see.
