Creating a splash!

A lovely day ..... a bit blustery but lovely sunshine :-)

Had a good wander this afternoon :-)

It was great to see both male & female Common Blue butterflies .... I was chuffed to get a photo of each (the female is brown) :-)

We also saw a Grasshopper hopping across the road! It did stop just long enough for me to get this photo before it hopped into the grass! Good timing!

We also climbed up onto the riverbank not expecting to see anything ..... however this Cormorant had just surfaced but as I went to take a photo it took off ... so you get a splashy back view!
