Grass Roof Farm Stall

We went for a drive this afternoon and ended up at a favourite farmstall. The grass on the roof on the left of the picture is looking in need of a cut. I wonder if it does get cut or if it's left to grow.  
The extras are the lovely flowers that were on sale and the resident cat having a good nap.
It's been another windy - but not too strong- day. I'm looking forward to warmer wind free days.
