Already Autumn

It's the first day of meteorological Autumn. We went to Queen's Park to look at the flowers. The first thing I noticed on the way to the park was the leaf litter on the paths, see extra. On turning into the park you couldn't miss this Horse Chestnut tree with turning leaves.

Did we have a summer? I think we did but with very little rain. The ground is very dry.
