Back in the saddle

Thank you to everyone who sent their good wishes for my ride today. Yes, I did it and without mishap. Unsurprisingly, I was dropped whenever we came to any hills though the others kindly waited for me at the summits. After about an hour, I took the opportunity to peel off early with one of the others who needed to get back early and we headed for home but I still managed about 20 miles. So, a positive start and it was good to catch up with all the gossip.
