Oleander Aphids

Thank you for your positive feedback on yesterday's quilt photo.

I rarely post photos of insects, but this was an educational one for us.  Thankfully they are not stink/shield bug larvae.  I found them feeding on the voraciously growing swamp milkweed.  After reading about them, we snipped the seed pods and bagged them before they munch on the much adored butterfly weed.   More info here.
