Hibees

Picture the scene: T & S are having breakfast

T (casually):  There is picture of a Mike Gallagher who played for Hibs  in the 1940s/50s on a Arranmore Facebook Group.
 S: I wonder if he is related your great grandmother  (Hannah Gallagher also from Arranmore)
T: I could check with my brothers (G - the family historian; A - the Hibees fan) 
S: Where's the fun in that  ! I'll do my own digging 

Several hours later S gets back to T 

S:  There are actually two connections through marriage - one through Hannah's sister-in-law and another through Mike's brother-in-law who is related to Hannah's husband. 

By this time it was 6 o'clock (how time flies when you are engrossed in family history) and I decided that fresh air was needed and so I went for a quick walk around the town.  My blip is of the Hibee related display in the butcher's shop.
