Rain coming

As we left the A1 and headed across the hills we could see the rain in the distance, we managed to get to the cottage, unpack and out for a walk before it arrived. Unfortunately we didn’t get back from the walk so got a bit wet, and now it is heavy rain.
Daughter messaged me to warn that there is a water leak right outside the cottage, fortunately it is flowing away from the door and down the road.
The bales are at the end of the village and are a lovely welcome for anyone driving in that way.
Bumped into two of Hettys doggy friends and she was so pleased to see them.
