Mum’s 95th Birthday

Found this picture of Mum and Breagha. Breagha absolutely loved Mum, and vice versa.

We had a lovely day it was very warm so went for lunch to a place in Rait which was formerly called the Tufted Duck, where you got the best egg mayo sandwiches in Perthshire. Mum used to call it the Daffy Duck.

The new owners have changed the outdoor furniture and it’s much comfier. We sat out with our tea and sandwich. We had a laugh remember some of the funny stuff we had memories of with Mum. I think of mum so much but even more so today. I know that she would want us to remember her with laughter, not tears so that’s exactly what we did. But I miss her so dam much.

We had a walk around the very pretty Hamlet of Rait and then stopped off at Glendoick for some plant purchases.

Home, tea and got the new jigsaw out.
